The former Wing Headquarters
(Bldg. 90) is now home to the Pease Development Authority.
Across the street to the
immediate west of building 90, in what used to be the woods, is this
new business.

Across the intersection
northwest of Building 90 is another new business on what was the
remains of the runway from the former Portsmouth Airport which
predated Pease.

To the north of Building 90 is
the former Education Center in the midst of a construction effort as
seen in July 1999.

The same area a year
later. The former Education Center has been demolished and a new
office building erected in it's place. Another office building
of the approximate same size and appearance is under construction to
the north of this one.

The former FB-111 Simulator
Building is in use by a graphic arts business.
The Base Exchange and
Commissary were taken over by the State Department and have become
the US Consular Center - Portsmouth.
The former BX is now the
National Passport Center. Most US passports are made in this
facility. A few million each year!
The former Commissary is now
the National Visa Center. Following processing by the Immigration and
Naturalization Service, all immigrant visas for admission to the
United States are processed here and are then forwarded to the
appropriate overseas consulate for visa issue.
