-380th BW's nose-arts-

During 1986, the 380th BW adopted some of the 380th Bombardment Group's B-24 nose-arts and started to name each aircraft of the Wing. Nose-arts were painted on the right side below the cokpit and the name repeated on the nosewheel doors with the Crew members and Crew chief's names. 68-0265 "Net results" was the first 380th BW's FB to receive a painting. During 1982, 69-6510 was the first to receive the nose-art "Sleepy Time Gal" on the right side of the cockpit and on the left side, had a scroll containing the legend "The Flying Circus" and four World War 2 squadron badges displayed beneath with the 380th BW emblem and the inscription "380th Bombardment Group Association". This aircraft received special markings to commemorate a 380th Bomb Group reunion and a different a/c received the markings for the next reunions.
